You know what I was thinking the other day is that I basically write everywhere else, on other websites like Letterboxd, Tumblr, X(Twitter), sometimes Subsstack, and I am going to be taking a year off of chemistry and biology labs to work on my theory, learn a bit more about water, more about analytical chemistry, and learn about writing about film.

I also look at my blog, and there haven’t been that many posts. So my question is, if it makes sense to host my own blog, whereas I can just write on other websites that host their own websit. I mean, it’s not as if I am making money on this through advertisements, or that my follower count is massive.

I have also went back on Quora, but I answer a small subset of questions now, and there are less wild questions that used to be on there. There are really some people that ask questions that should be directed at a professional. One lady suggested that a person drink a solution containing Borax, to get rid of the fluoride in the poster’s brain. The question was what should one do if their life has been ruined by mental health.

Last night I saw the B-movie gore-horror that was made as a homage to retro grindhouse (I know, that’s a lot of words) Onslaught. To be fair, it was a good movie to see in theatre for $5. Paying the actual full-price of a movie ticket (12.99 for regular I think, I’m a CineClub member) would have left people feeling not quite satisfied.

I was reading some of these professional movie critics, what the fuck man. These women just grasp at any straw they can get their little feminist hands on. I didn’t draw any parallels to the government at all, I am talking about The New York Times piece by Alissa Wilkinson.

I didn’t read her article as soon as she oppened with some political nonsense, she says that the movie tries to incorporate serious themes, but honestly the movie is just stupid fun, gore and some comedy. I am really displeased with how these film critiques try to make something out of nothing, personally I have very little faith in a critic when they do tthat.
