Well in the event that you have been living under a rock (or just hate the world) a lot has happened yesterday. I understand this is old news, but hey some people don’t know that their first cousin is actually illegal to marry in some states.
So they had an iHeart Radio Country Music Festival, where people came from all over the country to see performances like Jason Aldean; where they where met with a rainfall of bullets.
Can you imagine being at the concert and seeing people get shot, or worse seeing them die? I read that after several Americans shielded others from getting shot, even though they were shot themselves; another complete stranger had held the hand of another stranger who was dying.
That must have been an experience, for me to experience that would haunt me for the rest of my life.
That’s a scene I hope I never have to deal with in my life, nor any of you.
One of the most popular musicians to ever grace the industry during his time, Tom Petty, sadly has passed away. Yesterday he was brought to hospital already in full cardiac arrest, and was unresponsive. The pain of many people was felt all over social media, I mean if you grew up listening to him and attending concerts, it really gave you your own wake up call regarding your own mortality.
So many people want to do so much, that they forget to enjoy and have fun while their here. I was never a real fan of his music, I mean I appreciate it, yet I listen to so much music it’s really hard to say that I am a true fan of anyone. There’s this one song that everyone knows,
But I’m not going to lie, I am not a huge fan of his work; a lot of people just know the guy and so I figure he must be an okay dude. Haha I’m just kidding (maybe I shouldn’t do that so much) as any popular musician who has played music that struck the hearts and touched the emotions of the masses, this news devastates many.
I am taking my mother to go see the movie “mother!”, should be interesting. But tomorrow is the Leafs season opener @Winnepeg, I hope they come out with a W. I’ve been waiting for this all year, and Jaromir Jagr is now officially on a Canadian team.
