I have learned a lot about writing over the years.

I have also learned a lot about public opinion as well, and how some people will take advantage of you as your trying to climb the ladder of success.

The worst part is, that it comes from the people that you mostly trust, and love, like family or relatives. You can never be to careful, especially when it’s someone that thinks that they know more than you or that you don’t know what’s good for you.

And maybe you don’t, or maybe they don’t, but isn’t finding out and discovering what that is, and shaping your life, a huge part of autonomy?

Well, that is my question of the day, or week rather. I’m not able to write as much as I’d like to, or at least on more personal thoughts about life, and my personal opinions. It’s hard for me to appease to people who are less educated about public views and opinion.

Or those who say stuff that are inflammatory, like vaginal births are better than having a cesarean because of the vaginal micro-environment being beneficial to babies because through skin contact.

IT’s a bullshit claim, cesarean sections are used in special cases where the fetus is positioned in a dangerous way. They lead to more complications and more often lead to infection. They also require a longer healing time that vaginal births.

Just in case you ever hear about or are considering the C-section for vanity related reasons.

So this semester has started, and I am going to be swamped with course work and labs again, man I really wish I did science the fist time I was an undergraduate. I arrived at the TIFF reference library, and I started writing new film reviews.

Well that’s my plan, and we’ll see how it goes.
