Well not really, here in Toronto we had what seems like a week long bout, and quite honestly this has happened quite often this year already!
I bought some snowboard gear anticipating a cold winter (I even bought a helmet in case I slip on some covered ice). It’s practically Spring, I don’t even think we had a winter. All that Climate change, am I right?
I bet Greta agrees. Last thing I read about her is that she was getting arrested for some debauchery.
So I am still in school, getting thrown around like a rag dog between the sciences. Trying to dance between Biology and Chemistry, but I am chugging along. Last semester I failed Organic Chemistry midterm, so I dropped. In order to get an extra 2%, I entered a reading and writing excellence program, that had me writing a journal entry of minimum 250 words with academic references, for 2 months straight about organic chemistry every night.
Needless to say, my grade improved from a fail to a B- (I got a 68, I am just rounding up). However, the rest of my courses has suffered, like my Animal Physiology Laboratory, Molecular Genetics etc.
I used to write a lot, hell there is nothing else to do during COVID, other than write and play video games. But I stopped, and focused on what I thought to be as more important things.
Now I am going to try and start to write about all 6 of my courses, starting with Animal Physiology and Evolution. There are people who actually believe in intelligent design, which is just a more scientific perspective, or argument for creationism.
That there must be a God, things are just so perfectly made. There are several arguments against this, like the argument that the human hard is poorly supplied with blood, or the many inefficiencies of animal creation, like how the rabbit has to eat food once, then eat it’s own poop do digest the nutrients that failed to be absorbed the first time, because it’s digestive system is just “designed that way”.
So how is that an example of intelligent design, intelligent design is just confirmation bias in my mind. Anyway, this site is going to be more scientific here on out, also I have to find time to clean up my entries, and restructure my site.
